in a pressure cooker add little seasoning like jeera hing, then Daliya and little moong dal, add 5 to 6 times more water as compared to quantity of Daliya. can add vegetables like carrot, beans pumpkin or green leafy vegetable, pressure cook until soft. add ghee.
To prepare Ragi, Ragi grains are soaked overnight and then sprouted. it is then sun dried and later dry roasted. this grain is then milled to a fine powder. alternatively take market available Ragi flour.
to ragi flour add milk and sugar. cook on low flame. keep stirring to avoid lump formation. take off when it has reached the consistency like that of ghee. to this porridge add some ghee to feed child.
