ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. dear mum, solid foods should be introduced only after completion of 6 months. you can begin with foods like porridges, kheer, homemade cerelac, fruit puree. then dal rice with vegetable, khichdi, curd. later mashed paneer. add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible.
beginning with 3-4 teaspoons, give top food 2 to 3 times a day and up to half katori every time. continue to breastfeed.
