Q.

How to improve the weight my 7month old baby girl. She was 2.7kilo when she was born at the time of 6month she was 5.6kilo. Now she weighs 6kilo, how to improve the weight. Can anyone help me here?

A. if child is not gaining proper weight you need to consult your doctor to rule out the cause and most of t the time it could be because of nutritional deficiencies like nutritional anemia and some other factors like some chronic infection specially urine infection or worm infestation should be checked if required .

A. hi dear mom. babys weight depends on birth weight..babys should ideally double birth weight by three to six months and triples birth weight by completion of one year..give good solid weaning food and continue breast feeding till minimum two years as per world health organization
