At the age of 4 years 6 months, give a homemade balanced diet having a variety of food groups.
grains and millets 4 servings
pulses legumes/egg non veg: 1-2 servings
seasonal vegetables including green leafy vegetables: 1.5 serving
fruits - 1 serving
milk and milk products 500ml
sugar 4 tsp
oil 5 tsp
control intake of processed and packaged foods.
