Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment huaccordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

You Can give antiallergic syrup to the child as of now also you can give steam to the child indirectly twice a day apart from that you should just keep your child very well covered because due to weather change it is very common for a child to catch cold so you can do the things I start giving dry fruit and turmeric milk to the child
