To stop the pacifier habit in children, gradually limit pacifier use to specific times (such as naptime or bedtime) and offer comfort through other soothing methods like a favorite blanket or toy. Encourage positive behavior with praise and rewards, and address underlying issues such as anxietdy or boredom that may be contributing to the habit. Consistency and patience are key in transitioning away from pacifier use.
