ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician5 years agoA. hi your baby is 19 months old now first measure body temperature and if above 101 F then it is high grade fever which shall require medicine like mefkind ds 3.5 ml 2-3 times in a day for 2-3 days

Hello ma’am You have not mentioned the temperature of your child is it about 102° that you are calling it high fever or something if it is 99 -100 ° or 101° also then it is perfectly fine you can give paracetamol to your child and you can repeat it every eight hours if needed you can also do cold sponge to the child.
