how to get dry MY milk...dr has suggested to try to not give milk to my child

Of course that is the best way to avoid giving milk slowly gradually the milk is going to dry upon its own but still if you do not see it dry up well then you can ask your doctor to advise you with the medicine that will automatically help in drying up the breastfeed and that is totally safe to take
