ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. baby should gain at least 500 gram per month and should be double the birth weight by 6 months or less exclusively breastfeed till 6 months feed frequently on demand including night feed at one time feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain ensure that baby latches properly during breastfeeding.
