A. Fast letdown for babies is like an adult drinking water from a glass and someone tapping the the glass from behind which will cause the adult to gag or choke and water can come out of nose. It is the same for small babies with fast letdown it causes them discomfort and spit ups later. Laid back position with a scissors hold can help. You can also try expressing some milk till the initial forceful spray stops. Another effective method is to press your nipple back against your breast with your palm, for 10-15 seconds, just before feeding. This helps to reduce the force of the flow. Are you taking any supplements or food for supply or any laddoos as part of your postpartum diet? Are you pumping?
