Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. nasal blockage can be relieved by using nasal saline drops in the nose followed by nasal aspirator to take out the secretions very gently
steam inhalation will also be helpful in this case
if there are any conducted sounds or wheezing and the baby is not able to feed then you need to take an opinion from your pediatrician if any further treatment is required for this.Ear should be only cleaned superficially and gently by an ear bud when the baby is sleeping
Do not try to clean deeply by yourself as it can cause injury so consult your doctor for that .
if your baby is continuously rubbing the ear or there is any sign of pain when you should consult ENT specialist for this for proper clinical examination till then you should maintain good hygiene.
do not let the soap water of bathing and the breast milk or secretions during feeding enter into the ear canal to ensure proper hygiene.
