A. there is always a chance of neonatal jaundice in small children within one or maximum 2 weeks of birth in which the skin as the eyes may appear yellow. you have to meet the doctor fofr evaluation of the jaundice. normal simple jaundice will go away on its own with only breastfeeding but if it is more your doctor will advise phototherapy. the yellowness from the eyes may take around 1 to 1 and half month to totally go away.

A. hi it isn't possible to prevent it all. although there are some steps through which you can reduce the risk the first, most important step is breastfeeding. please offer plenty of breastfeeds to your child breastmilk help the Baby eliminate billirubin . so offer 8-12 times feeding per day make sure your child get enough milk because dehydration can worsen jaundice give sunlight atleast 20 minutes a day which is best Natural therapy to reduce this
