how much time required to breastfeed a baby.. my baby took hour or two breastfeeding

SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, you need to feed once in every two hours for about 20 minutes that is 10 minutes on the left breast and 10 minutes on the right breast. HOld baby in 30° angle position and make sure the Aerola is completely inside the babies mouth. After feeding burp your baby well. Do not feed more than 25 minutes.Also check the urine count baby should pass urine 6 to 8 times in a day. If the urine count is normal then nothing to worry. If the urine count is less than six times in a day then please check with your paediatrician for top feed.Write Your Answer Here
