Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. usually cow milk is avoided before completion of one year of age because before that it can cause cow milk allergy which might lead to either constipation or loose motion or colic pain.
but if you have given cow milk earlier and it did not cause any digestion problem then you can continue to give it to the child
otherwise stick to the milk which was given since birth.
the thing is that at this age you can go for any type of milk for the child and it can be either formula milk or packet milk or powder milk or animal milk that is either buffalo milk or cow's milk for your child.
initially you will have to offer outside milk in small quantity and if the child is tolerating thdat amount then gradually you can increase the quantity of milk but if the child is not tolerating then kindly change the type of milk you are giving .
(when you bdoil the animal milk and then cool it you can remove the upper layer of fat and it becomes a toned milk)
