Paracetamol Dosage Calculation:
The standard safe dose is 10-15 mg per kg per dose, given every 4-6 hours if needed (not exceeding 4 doses in 24 hours).
If using 125 mg/5ml (Paracetamol 125 syrup) Dose: 4.5–7 ml per dose Example: You can give 5 ml (one teaspoon) every 6 hours if needed. If using 250 mg/5ml (Paracetamol 250 syrup) Dose: 2.2–3.5 ml per dose Example: You can give 2.5 ml every 6 hours if needed. Important Notes:
✔ Always use the syringe/dropper provided with the medicine for accurate dosing.
✔ Never exceed 4 doses in 24 hours.
✔ If fever is above 102°F, use a cold sponge bath along with medicine.
✔ Consult a doctor if fever lasts more than 3 days or if the baby is very irritable or inactive.
