Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. sitting without support and crawling in children may sometimes come after one year of age also.
if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry. just take care of regular diet and baby massage which will help in strengthening the muscles needed for sitting and crawling. f
in some cases crawling may be absent in children and directly the child will begin to stand with support and later walk with support and then without support.
take a medical check up done to confirm if there is need of any intervention.

Mostly kids should learn to sit independently by the time of eight months to 8 1/2 months and sometimes for a premature child could be 9 to 9 1/2 months maybe a month also extra if your child hasn’t learned to sit by age of 10 also then it would be good to check with your doctor once
