How Long does it take for jaundice yellowness to go away from eyes?

A. there is always a chance of neonatal jaundice in small children within one or maximum 2 weeks of birth in which the skin as the eyes may appear yellow. you havee to meet the doctor for evaluation of the jaundice. normal simple jaundice will go away on its own with only breastfeeding but if it is more your doctor will advise phototherapy. the yellowness from the eyes may take around 1 to 1 and half month to totally go away.

As Soon as the jaundice subside completely you will see that there will be no more 10th of yellow colour into the eyes of the child and also if you keep your child into sun in direct sun rays for about 40 to 60 minutes every day then at the healing will be faster due to good absorption of vitamin D in the
