Q.
How do i know if my baby has viral infection. He is having diarrhea from more than 20 days. Did stool routine bt no infections shows. Doctor prescribed nitazoxanide syrup. Is this syrup for viral infections? Does viral infection doesnot show up in stool routine test? Pls help.

Author of questionMom of a 4 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. Bt i am already seeing a local doctor. She suggested ecosafe, econorm, alnorm vials, metrogyl, z&d drops. Bt nothing worked. Stool routine and blood occult test came negative. No sign of infection. I even attached the report. Please have a look.
