Q.

How do I break sleep association of pacifier ? My baby hardly sleeps without pacifier and wakes up many times during night and when I give him pacifier he is back to sleep ? I tried from last 2 days not to give pacifier when he wakes up in night but he starts crying

A. stop it gradually not suddenly there is no problem in using pacifier / nipple if cleaned. the problem arises when it falls down and goes again inside the oral cavity of the child without proper cleaning and sterilization. if it is not cleaned and goes in the oral cavity can cause infection and cough and cold and loose motion
