A. Dear mum, mother feeding should be stopped gradually so as to make it less stressful for you and your baby. Reduce the number of breastfeeds feeds during the day time and increase the amount of top food. Try to divert your baby’s attention by reading out stories, singing a lullaby or patting your child’s back. The night time feeding should be the last feeding to be stopped.

A. To stop breastfeeding is a slow process, you need to do it slowly, first let your baby adopt cow milk or tetra pack milk whichever is preferable and once your baby starts having that milk you can lessen breast feeding, then keep feeding limited only to night time and then gradually stop feeding.
