how can I handle pain and breastmilk collection after stopping feeding..

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. for first one or two weeks the problem will continue but after that as soon as there is no continuous sucking from the child the milk formation will stop and the pain will also go away and for pain you can give hot fomentation on the breast as well as warm compresses

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom This is due to breast engorgement. Express ur milk when the breast is full.. This will help to get relief from pain. As u have stopped breastfeeding the baby u can discard the milk. Milk will stop automatically on its own
