A. Dried fruits and nuts can be introduced into your child's diet when she is around 7 to 9 months of age. But it should be done in the form of paste or powder to avoid any choking hazards. Soak dried fruits like raisins in water for a few hours to soften. It will make pureeing or mashing them easier.

A. Dry roast it mam n powder it. heat a pan and dry roast the almonds, cashews & pistachios in low medium flame for a minute or until it changes its colour here and there. Remove the roasted almonds, cashews, pistachios from the pan and transfer to a blender. Let it cool down for sometime Add roasted gram dal in the same pan and dry roast it for 3 minutes. Remove it from the pan and add it to the blender. Now slightly roast the rasins & dry ginger for a minute. Remove from the pan and set aside. Once almonds, cashews, pistachios, roasted gram dal are cooled down, grind it together in the blender to a smooth powder. Finally add raisins & dry ginger to the blender. Give a spin for 10 secs. Once done, spread the dry fruits powder to a plate and cool it down. Store it in a airtight container and keep it in refrigerator
