Q.
How can i discontinue the use of baby soother's habit of my 22 months old daughter ?? she sucks it while sleeping and if taken out she yells and cries for it and even doesnot sleep.Forcefully we have to give her the soother to sleep.Iam afraid her teeths may protude out if i donot discontinue this habit of her's.. please suggest..

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist3 years agoA. you can politely explain it to her that it is dirty. or you can cut the nipple of the pacifier and your child will not like it. it takes time to break the habit
