Q.

Hlw doc.. my baby boy had very high fever for 2-3 days. now no more fever but he is very weak because he didn't eat any food for 2 days.no taste for food.only drinking water.always angry and crying.what to do get well soon will?plz help doc🙏

A. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be rguled out . Antipyreticr like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is also helpful . Dorctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

A. good evening the crankiness happens because of the weakness which happens because of falling sick nothing to worry about give it a couple of days it will get better on it's on try to give light food for a few days
