Q.

Hlo.. my daughter is 26 months old .. from last 16-17 hours she has not passed urine .. On daily basis I give her enough water and I also give glucose D but she is not passing urine .. in mrng I have given her alkaline syrup also but then also she hasn’t passed urine ..plz tell what to do

A. sometimes urine in output can reduce if baby is having high fever or if there is lot of sweating due to ambitient temperature in summer season. give more fluids like coconut water, apart from glucose wayer

A. hi dear If your newborn refuses several feedings in a row or seems to be eating less than usual, check with your doctor. Not peeing. A healthy newborn has 6 to 8 wet diapers in 24 hours after day 4 of life. If they have fewer than that, they may be dehydrated.
