include more of fibre from whole grain, millets, whole pulses, vegetables green leafy vegetables, salads
avoid / control portion of starchy vegetables and fruits
avoid fine ground grains like maida and it's products, process packaged foods
instead of 3 large meals divide food intake in small frequent meals
take 1 teaspoon of soaked and grounded methi seeds before meals
be active and appropriate exercise like every day walk
