Hlo Dr.... My bby is 15 months 15 days old..... he had fever 100.6 today.... I gave him crocin 0.5 ml.... but his fever is not taking off.... pls guide

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold spongivgng of the wghole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

Sunita MahatoMom of 2 children3 years agoA. if fever is not going visit the doctor and accordingly follow the doctor monitor the temperature at regular intervals you can use Babyhug thermometer keep baby well hydrated you can use wet cotton Patti to low down temperature
