hlo doctor! my son is 1 month old , he is crying after feeding his stomach becomes hard while crying I think he is constipated, his fart is so smelly ,what can I do for constipation I'm giving both breastmilk and formula milk

Kajaal JaiswalMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. Hey dear I have given my baby Dexolac formula milk alongwith breastmilk since 1 month of her age.... It contains FOS which is a good fiber beneficial for long term gut health and growth of the baby... I gave my baby enough tummy time so that it digests well and very less gastric problems I faced with my baby as people say with formula milk children often feel gastric. I had a good experience giving Dexolac formula milk to my baby...you can consult your doctor about this matter .

the child is crying due to colic pain (due to gas) and not due to the reason that the child has not passed the stool.
infants may not pass stool for 10 days also and if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid it is not constipation. you can consider constipation only if it is hard and dry stools.c
you can give anticolic medicines and meet your doctor.
burping / upright position for 20 minutes will help in decreasing the gas and future colic pain
