Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. there are multiple causes of limb pain during this age because it can be normal due to growth pain.
it can also occur due to nutritional deficiency mainly vitamin d, vitamin b12 irodn and calcium deficiency.
if there is excessive playful activity by the child during the daytime it is but obvious that during the night time there might be limb pain.
if the limbs are paining without any activity then yes medical examination and treatment will be required
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. Growth plate inflammation (apophysitis) is most common in the heel bone, where it is called Sever's disease. It is not really a disease, but an activity and age-related irritation of the growth plate along the back of the heel. This is the most common cause of foot pain in patients aged 10 to 12.
