Q.

hlo doc !! I'm 16w pregnant in 16th week scan they found out my cervix was short so immediately I undergone cervical cerclage my doctor advised me full bed rest with slanting position in the bed.... as the baby weight increases week by week will the baby weight put pressure on cervical cerclage n will it tend to open ???? is cervical cerclage successful procedure will it lead to full term delivery??? can I atleast sit for sometimes????

A. rest is very important ok. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide yousee only the doctor who can see you in person can judge what is the right status. best to trust her
