Q.
his birth weight was 2.8kg .. when he was 3n 1/2months his weight was 5.35kg .. after that he got some fever and cold.. bcz of that he didn't gain weight.... after 3 months he is not gaining much weight.... wt can we do to increase his weight?

Author of questionMom of a 2 yr 3 m old boy1 Year agoA. sir he is active and look healthy.. he put on his weight very well till 3 and 1/2 month.. but after that he is not Gaining proper weight.... but he don't have any health issues it seems.... he got little fever and cold in the last week

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding.
meet the doctor for weight assessmentx.
if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake.
if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequencyx of the child
