Hii this question is for my 11 days old baby..He had jaundice 16 points on day 3..After phototherapy the jaundice reduced to 9 points..Is this normal..How many points of bilirubin is normal

A. It’s approximately five which you consider as an appropriate figure but nine is also really less now so I would recommend you to give vitamin D supplement that must have been suggested by the doctor and keep your child into indirect sunlight for at least 30 to 40 minutes twice in the day
