hii sir. my baby is 2 months old.he is suffering with cold.what precautions should I take. which medicine should I give him?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be us freeed in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

if symptoms are mild then no need of Medication.
just feed your child on demand ,it is best remedy to cure any viral or bacterial Infection.
because breastmilk contains antibodies which help your child to fight against viral or bacterial Infections.
you can apply warm paste of Turmeric powder and water on chest and back of your child too ,the heat of Turmeric powder will help to cure this
