Hii My son is 29days old. He fusses a lot and has body ache.is this normal ??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. the recurrent stretching / curving of the body again and again as well as uncomfort / making grunting sounds as well as hiccups as well as colic pain all are due to gas in the intestine and stomach.
it is very important that after giving milk to the child you
should keep the child in upright position and do burping for 15 to 20 minutes(irrespective that you hear the burps or not). gas in stomach causes hiccups.
do not keep the child back on the bed after 1 burping because one time burping will not remove all the gas and if the gas is not removed properlyd it goes into intestine causing abnormal distension and that will lead to colic pain again and again.
keep the childd in upright position whether you hear the burping sound or not and also it is not important that you will hear the sound when the child removes the air from the oral cavity.

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello make sure the baby is getting sufficient breast milk and any concern it would be better to check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you accordingly and in the case the breast milk is not sufficient you can alternatively be giving your child infant formula milk stage 1 using a bpa free bottle like babyhug
