Q.

hii. my child us suffering from high fever and taking mediciene orally nor any syrup. please tell me doctor may i give Neomol 170 mg suppositries to her.how much hours gap should be there. 12 hrs ya 24 hrs. kindly response regards

A. 12hrs the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water. higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

A. Mam shall i give Neomol 170 mg as no doctors are available ryt now n she having 102.3 degree fever .plz suggest

A. Madam right now the doctors would not be available but if they would be they’ll suggest you what’s meant to be done further you can check with your paediatrician they’ll tell you if you can give it to the child or not they’ll be able to clear your doubt
