heat on head is normal ..it is to develop the nerves.consult a pediatrician if body heat always.try to make skin to skin contact with baby.it helps to calm baby.

Fever is reaction in the body towards any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body and only when the temperature is above 99F it is considered as fever, so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever in between the doses ,but if it continues even thereafter you should consult your doctor for proper treatment. if the temperature is not controlled by paracetamol alone meftal p can be given in between as a single dose but only under medical guidance.these medicines will also work to relieve any pain or body ache to a good extent. but in case of infection in which the fever is associated with other problems also it is recommended to get the clinical assessment done and get a proper treatment donew7 by a doctor.

You should just try to be normal room temperature and don’t change the temperature of surroundings frequently. If baby is temperature is more than 99° then you should keep Calpol drops to your baby. And if the temperature is less than it then there is no need to give any medication
