hii I have an 2yrs 7month old boy he is having cough and cold from 6month we are giving medicine but nothing is working what can we do for him pls suggest

Cough and cold can we because of some allergic reaction in the body most of the time it is viral in the origin need to give symptomatic treatment first like steakgm inhalation and some home remedies cough expectorant may be required along with anti allergic medications
