Q.

Hii I have a question regarding deworming my 18 months baby..For this I asked our baby's paediatrician..He prescribed albendazole syrup of 10 ml..Can I give it to my baby .Is it safe to use it so..plz suggest. Thank you

A. safe kindly give syrup albendazole 5 ml to the child at night (first dose) and 5 ml after 14 days and if the problem still continues meet your doctor and get a stool examination which will help in diagnosis. very important to maintain hygiene of the food and water as well as the the hygiene of the hands and everything which goes inside the mouth of the child otherwise the worms problem will occur again and again.x it is usually uncommon for small children less than 2years to have worms problem
