Q.

hii I have 55days old baby due to urine infection, suffering from high fever used 5days antibiotics, doctor suggest me that not to feed baby with breast milk now iam fine but breast milk production is too low how can I improve this iam very much worried about this

A. hi...Breast milk works on demand and supply, the more u nurse ur baby the more milk it will produce, so keep feeding frequently. Dates, nuts like almond, cashew, walnut, pista, coconut, a glass of milk with dry fruit powder, lentils or dal, a spoonful of methi daily, should be added in your diet to increase breastmilk supply. You may take Zandu Shatavari powder daily two times with milk .
