Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. there is always the possibility that Iron supplement may cause gastritis and loose motion in children so you should discuss with her doctor that if you can change to another brand or you can stop medicine and give iron rich food instead

Iron usually creates constipation but not loose motion so if your child is having iron supplement and you feel the motion has increased the number of motions are more then stop the medicine and see if anything gets better and consult your doctor in case of requirement
