hii doctor. m a mother of 10 months old twins. m undergoing periods for third time. the issue is last two times i have periods with non stop bleeding with clots for about 20-25 days. n today is 6th day of bleeding ..m afraid if the same thing happen this times too. pls help me in my regularize periods n hormonal balance

A. To regularise your cycles you have to take hormonal medications on a daily basis for a minimum of 3-6 cycles and suitable for your breastfeeding status also. Consult your gynecologist

A. hi mom irregular periods can be due to multiple reasons such as hormonal imbalance fibroid endometriosis adenomyosis etc so u should consult with the doctor for proper examination and treatment

A. Irregular periods is common after delivery specially when u r breastfeeding. Some may get it as early as two months and some don't get it even after a year. While few others get it one month and suddenly no periods for couple of months or Some may get too early every month before completing one month with more than usual flow or at times only spotting . If it's bothering you, then it is good to consult your gynecologist once. Also it is always good to use contraceptive methods after delivery even if u have irregular or no periods.
