hii doc. my son is 6 weeks old. I want to know why he starts crying loudly in the middle of sleep. and whenever we try to lay him on bed on his back he starts moving his hands ,looks like he is uncomfortable which leads to make him awake.why he do so.

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 6 weeks old now and he is having colic problem in night for which give warm massage to belly and make cycling movements of both legs and circular massage around belly button and if problem persist try cyclopam drops 0.5 ml

meeta agarwalMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Gppe evening father , Some babies may call out or cry in the middle of the night, then calm down when mom or dad enters the room. This is due to separation anxiety, a normal stage of development that happens during this time. If this happens, as with other awakenings, give your baby some time to settle down.
