hii doc my Dr is little bit skinny tell me something about her weight gain

A. Dear mum, do not worry if your daughter is little bit skinny. As long as baby is active, playful and achieving all growth milestones then it indicates good health. For healthy weight gain, you should give a homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. More than 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add nuts like almonds to baby’s diet. Give 5 meals a day and up to one katori every time.
