Q.
Hi, Wife delivered in March -2023, So we had sex after 3 months now she is having pain at stitches. Is there any issue to do so ?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. If there is more of pain you can get one's proper examination done by your doctor if everything is normal then you can just do kegels exercise which will help to reduce the complaints

If your perineum (the area of skin between the vagina and the anus) was cut by your doctor or if it was torn during the birth, the stitches may make it painful to sit or walk for a little while during healing. It also can be painful when you cough or sneeze during the healing time.Avoid sex for few weeks
