Q.

hi, wanted to check if it safe to take vaccination if baby is having fever, temp of 99. -100 F. baby is 21 months old and has missed vaccination of 18 months by 3 months.

A. avoid simple cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for cvaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination if still in confusionc you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

A. Moslty no. it's good to give it on time But to a week you can extend and to a week you can advance the date But Dont delay more than a week or ten days Certain vaccines have age limit too so make sure you don't delay a lot
