Hi, today we saw red tinges/ seeds/ particles in my 4 month old son's poop. He is completely breastfed. Is it concerning?

A. Thank you so much Doctor. Great relief!! Also, yesterday we started tonoferon drops as prescribed by my child's pediatrician. Could this also be the possible reason?

A. no this is normal stool as per the age of the child. this variation maybe seen when the chsild is on milk. if the growth and the weight of the child is within normal limits then there is no need to worry. if you still feel that something is different you can get the child examined by the doctor who will tell you if there is need for anzy stool examination or not
