Hi, today my child got vaccinated in case if he gets fever how many drops of paracetamol should I give. his current weight is 10.2kg he is 18 months old. thank u

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. yes can start if above 99 Fahrenheitbaby on touch can have warm sole forehead and is a normal thing . Temperature above 99 farenheit at armpit level is considered as fever and needs medicines . Can give calpol / Sumol / T 98 for fever and can be repeated every 6 hours . if fever does not subside with paracetamol and persists for more than 2 days then you need to consult a doctor for examination to know cause of fever .
