Q.

hi Today my baby completed six month ND his weight is 6.8 kg. Is it normal or less ?

A. child should double it's birth weight by completion of six months and triples by one year.. start giving liquids like rice water or dal ka and fruit purees. also start iron calcium and multivitamins supplements regularly

A. Hi, by six month baby will get double the birth weight. So you can check accordingly to your baby’s birth weight. And by one year baby will get triple the birth weight. Since baby has completed six months you can start with semisolid food like porridge, purée, water. Avoid salt, sugar, honey, dry fruits, citric fruits, cow milk until baby completes one year.Write Your Answer Here
