Q.

Hi. This is sudham...my boy has foot mouth deseas second occurance..he is 7 months old..can you please let me know the precautions and treatment

A. Hand foot mouth disease is viral in origin and mostly symptomatic treatment is required because it is a self limiting disease and here fever come and small eruptions may be seen in hands foot face and other parts of the body along with oral ulcerations so higive plenty of liquids to maintain proper hydration and maintain a good hygiene . Some multivittamin syrup along with antihistamine can be given . For oral ulcer dologel can be applied locally
