Hi Sir, my son 1 year 3month old his weight 9kg it is ideal or need to gain his weight and one more thing Sir he not walking yet but he trying to stand up by self please guide us thanks

A. baby is 1 year of age Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it give milk shake with dry fruit powder for weight gain get deworming done and give iron supplements it should triple the birth weight by 1 year of age

A. Hi mom Ideally the weight gets triple the birth weight by one year. If ur baby is active and playful then no need to worry about weight much. Give all that you cook for your family. Include egg, ghee, dry fruits, dairy products like paneer curd cheese, Banana shake, potatoes, rice, avocado, ragi etc in ur baby's diet for weight gain. Secondly Every baby is different in achieving milestones. Babies they can start to walk anytime between 11 - 18 months. so no need to worry. Masage ur baby daily for strong bones and muscles.
